A contract position is available for a bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support K-12 students in a Dallas, TX school district. This role offers the opportunity to work within an established evaluation team, providing essential speech and language services to a diverse student population.
Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive evaluations, developing individualized intervention plans, and collaborating with educators and support staff to enhance student communication skills. The position is itinerant, covering multiple campuses within the district, with an office base at the Student Support Center. This role offers a hybrid work schedule, allowing remote work one day per week.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Texas SLP license
- Proficiency in English and Spanish to effectively serve bilingual students
- Experience working in school settings, preferably with K-12 populations
- Ability to conduct thorough speech and language evaluations and develop targeted intervention strategies
- Strong organizational and communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
